16oz. Water Bottle Carrier

I used a G hook and Lilys sugar and cream or peaches and cream cotton, it won’t stretch as much, but you can use red heart super saver, it will just stretch a bit.

Rnd 1) ch 2, 10 double crochet in 2nd ch from hook, slip st to first double crochet.
Rnd 2) ch 2 ( this did not count as my first double crochet) 2 double crochet in each st around, sl to first double crochet
Rnd 3) ch 2, double crochet in same st, 2 double crochet in next st, double crochet in next st around, sl st to first dc

Rnd 4) ch1, sc in same st and around in back loop for this row, sl to first sc

Rnd 5) ch 1, sc in same st, ch2 skip next st, sc in next st around.
Rnd 6-14) sl st into ch2 space, ch1, sc in same st, * ch2 sc in next ch2 space, repeat from * around.
Rnd 15) ch1, sc in each sc and ch2 space around,
Rnd 16) ch1, sc around
For a strap, I just made a ch, for however long depending on the person intended for, and then hdc on both sides of ch for a couple of rounds. Happy crocheting
I am sharing this with you for your own personal use, gifting or selling the products is fine. But please don't sell the pattern. And please link to my page when posting. Thanks

  6. Great idea for a water bottle. My daughter might find this handy. It also solves my problem of my SIL always misplacing her cup/water bottle at family parties. I mentally slapped my forehead when I saw this. I can make her this and she can wear it. Now if I can only find a cup with a top & a straw..... lol

  11. Love it! Where I live the avg high is 108 degrees, and water at all times is a must! It's also a major pain. I constantly buy those stainless steel bottles and then leave them places because I put them down and walk away. I used this pattern, and put a long strap on it. It's perfect worn across the body like a sling. Trying to finish #2 for my hike this week. Planning on wearing them crisscross Rambo style. When I wear the one I have that way, I hardly notice the water.

  14. I don't see where in the pattern it says to repeat a row 15 times. In the pattern above it has to repeat rows 6-14. What am I missing? Thanks!

  15. In row 4 are you making back to back sl or are you putug it in the back loop? I have just put it in the back loop. I'm loving these and have made several. Thanks for sharing the pattern.
