Holding Happiness

My husband works for Coca Cola and when we go on trips we might grab a 2liter bottle of some thing, be it Coke, Minute Maid or whatever. Some times we reuse the bottle for water. Here is a cozy/carrier to fit that bottle. It's nice to use to carry it or make a longer handle to hang off a rock or a branch and set the bottle in the water if you are near a lake or stream. Keeps it nice and cold.
It stretches to any fit tho so if you are a ...ahh... Pepsi fan...(slaps self on wrist) I guess that would be ok too! :o)

  1. I just wanted you to know that I used your pattern to make my friends all wine bottle caddies for Christmas. I used "I Love This Yarn!" brand of yarn. I chose black with a hint of metallic silver thread throughout the yarn. They loved them! PS-I used a much shorter strap.

When I showed one of them to our Missions Director at work (I work for my church), she said that the pattern would be great for our short-term missionaries to have to tote around 2 liter bottles of water when they go abroad.

So now a bunch of us ladies are making 20 of them for our 20 missionaries for when they go to Peru this July! These totes will be made with random donated yarn that we've had so much fun mixing and matching to make cute/interesting combinations with.

Keep up the good work and God bless!

  2. I love the irony in this. My husband is a driver for Pepsi and we always jokingly say that there's fine print on our marriage license that I'm under contract to only drink Pepsi. lol

My dad, on the other hand, is a die-hard Coke fan and LOVES to send my husband all sorts of Coke merchandise just to get a rise out of him. My favorite to date - Coca-Cola Pajama Pants. :)

Thanks for the darling pattern. I'm excited to try this, now that the weather is getting nicer.

  3. Great pattern easy instructions but mine didn't come out tall enough for a 2 liter bottle, will have to make another and add a few rows, thank you for sharing your pattern I love it

  4. Growing up, my father worked for Pepsi. I didn't have Coke until I went away to college. :)

  5. Очень понравилась идея! Спасибо)) Собираюсь использовать не для Пепси. Думаю тоже подойдет -)
